artist profile

The exploration of craft practices and design are central to my art practice. My public art and gallery works draw connections between the common, or vernacular, and our association with memory and experiences. Creation and construction methods form an integral part of the meaning and outcome of my artworks with pieces often possessing handmade, crafted details and repetitive elements. I often reference domestic crafts in my art practice, evoking individual memories and feminine forms.
