artist profile
Observing and interpreting the daily goings-on in the suburbs is a major theme in my work. The ordinary and the mundane are often overlooked, but can be interesting and beautiful if viewed in the right way. Someone once said, life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans - my paintings are about that everyday life and all the familiarities that we take for granted. I want to take the banal and make it beautiful.
