Scott harrower is a professional mosaicist, specializing in site-specific architectural works. As the newly elected President of the Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand and National Education Officer for the Association, he is dedicated to teaching and supporting new direction in creative thinking and practice. He instigated the first professional mentorship training program for the Association. He established his mosaic design business in 1995 at the age of 27. His passion and respect for the classical medium has brought him industry recognition. A prestigious client base includes the Queensland State Government, Various city councils, Universities, religious organisations, residential designers and architects in Australia and New Zealand. Scott's Ability to develop a collaborative, shared vision with his clients has placed him as one of Australia's leading Mosaicists.
Scott's latest venture in the creative industries, shmdesign is a unique destination showroom where architectural and decorative design elements, fine art & craft combine to represent a market place of handcrafted australian designer products. The showroom in central Lismore, New South Wales, brings together the talents of scott harrower mosaic design with the incorporation of contemporary textiles, furnishings, ceramics and other selected architectural and decorative design elements by some of Northern New South Wales creative industries’ leaders.
